Crowberry

Crowberry Capital is a venture capital firm with bases in Iceland and Denmark. We invest at seed and early stages in exceptional Nordic teams that are building global businesses centered around genuine technological advantages. To date, we have made 30 investments across two funds in various sectors, including B2B SaaS, health tech, fintech, and gaming. Our current fund amounts to €90 million, and we are actively investing for the foreseeable future. Our average initial investment is around €1 million, with the potential to follow on in Series A and B rounds.

We invest significant time and energy in assisting our portfolio companies. This includes helping them develop their products and teams, scale their businesses, secure subsequent funding rounds, and much more. Jenny Ruth Hrafnsdottir

Jenny is a Founding Partner at the Nordic VC fund Crowberry Capital. She is passionate about empowering women to take an active role in the digital transformation of businesses and in the well being of entrepreneurs in order to build healthy businesses and reach ultimate results. She has served on dozens of tech start-up boards and spoken at various tech conferences. Prior to becoming VC she headed Business Development at BionX, a Boston based Health Tech startup. Earlier Jenny was a Product Manager at Össur OSSR:DC and CEO at Krumma ehf.

Jenny earned her Dipl.-Ing. in engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Micro-Electro-Mechanics. She holds B.S. in Mechanical and Industrial engineering from University of Iceland and registered IPs.

Aron Jóhannsson

Aron is a member of the investment team at Crowberry, having joined in 2021. He brings a brief but valuable experience as a startup founder and is currently based in Copenhagen. His primary role involves identifying and processing promising investment opportunities within the Nordic region. Additionally, Aron plays a significant role in supporting these companies once they become part of Crowberry's portfolio.
